What Do Our Inspections Cover?

Our inspections are far more than a quick glance at the tank. We take the time to assess every critical component of your system, which may include:

  • Locating and uncovering the septic tank
  • Visual inspection of tank condition (including signs of corrosion, cracks, or leakage)
  • Inspection of baffles and effluent filter
  • Pump system testing (if applicable)
  • Dye testing or flow testing when needed
  • Inspection of the leach field for signs of saturation or failure
  • Checking for code compliance and maintenance history
  • Shore-land compliance evaluation for waterfront properties

We also take detailed photographs of key system components so you can visually confirm what we're seeing. This helps homeowners, buyers, and agents better understand the condition of the system, especially if they cannot be present at the time of inspection.
